Baphomon Reference Sheet Version 2

Updated version of my Digimon design of Baphomon. Original version with all the info here www.deviantart.com/notoriousno… The only thing I changed in this version was the colour of the horns and the mask and it gave me a chance to show off the mouth. Also decided to keep this in flat colours (was so hard not to shade it!) ♥

When you’re a Satanist | Digimon Comic

Some people love dogs, some people love birbs. Naomi just happens to be a Satanist with an obsession with goats I wonder why 8D

Side tangent: I did try to change Belphemon a little as his original design makes him look like a dog. It confused the hell out of me when I kept going back in and looking at different references of him.

Pain Dealer | Digimon Faction

Trying a new colouring style this time around! This is also the first time drawing my OCs with their Beelzemon. Only took just over a year!

The relationship between the three of them is both a loving and toxic one. Both Naomi and Zack have clashing personalities but are united through their devotion for their partner Beelzemon; and their Beelzemon loves them unconditionally in return. As their souls are spiritually bound, both Psychotic and Empathetic traits from each tamer exchanges to the other as time goes on ♥

Pokemon Self Insert Trainer | Team Sheet

I’m over the moon to have finally got this finished. It’s been one of those projects I’ve gone back to a few times since watching Detective Pikachu back in May. I knew I had to make a trainer design for my Self Insert character for the Pokeverse. Digimon has always been my favourite over Pokemon but I remember spending so many hours of my childhood playing Red through to Soul Silver.

Even though I haven’t played the recent games or know much about the story lines in them, I still love seeing the new generations of Pokemon after each game. Having said that I’m on the fence on if I want to play Sword & Shield when they’re released this year. It’s based in around British heritage, so I have to! 8D

Keyholder of Sin Tamer | Hector Johnson and Leviamon

Starting from the bottom up, I introduce Hector, the minder and tamer of the demon lord Leviamon! It may not be perfect but I had so much fun working on this one simply for the colouring technique on Leviamon and how the human character’s face turned out.

Leviamon on the other hand wasn’t too hard to draw, it was just different from my usual go-to creature. I decided to shorten his nose as I found his original design a bit ridiculous and also for him to resemble a Crocodile a bit more. I adore Crocodiles and reptiles, but there’s something unnerving about them even at a long distance.

As a huge Walking Dead fan, I was totally inspired by Michael Rooker’s portrayal of Merle Dixon and this subconsciously became the base of the character. Other inspirations such as Muldoon from Jurassic Park and my favourite in particular, Percival McLeech from The Rescuers were soon to follow.

I never draw older characters so this was a nice challenge. Getting a living person from a reference photo to a 2d lineart is… An interesting struggle 8D

Hector is the partner of the demon lord Leviamon and is the key holder of Envy. Although apathetic to the war between the factions, Hector resides as a recluse in the swamps of the Dark Area, the lowest faction of the Digital world. The swamps are dangerous but if there’s anyone who can survive here, it’s Hector. He stays to remain close to the Net Ocean where Leviamon sleeps. However he is known to visit the human world from time to time.

As a man in his late fifties he is the oldest human member of the Keyholders and was also the youngest to pass his trial of his sin at the age of 11. And although he is resentful of the other Keyholders for whatever reasons he considers Suzanne a good friend, the keyholder of Sloth.

I’m not sure which tamer I want to work on next but I do have solid ideas for Pride, Lust, and Sloth. I’m just very mystified about Wrath, that character hasn’t popped out yet. Wish me luck nonetheless!

Keyholder of Sin Tamer | Morgan Kray and Barbamon

As an addition to my Digimon AU project I wanted to include the Seven great demon lords. In my story I wanted to include tamers that were their personification in the human world. I’ve started of desgining tamers starting off with the Key holder of Greed, Morgan Kray.

My core inspration for Morgan came from a number of places, the most prominent being the Kray twins from East London. His name is a combination of the Kray twins as well as from the character Morgan from interview with the Vampire. However if you knew Morgan’s character from the book there’s no way these two correlate apart from the similarity of red hair!

Morgan is selfish, violent, and most of all cunning. You will never see him as anything less than well dressed and immaculate. He wears a mask as he has a disfigured face from a past altercation with another Key holder. This combined with his incredible height and stature resonates an heir that’s unnerving and intimidating.

I know this is technically the fifth installment to the group as Barbamon is the fifth great demon lord, but I was eager to draw this one. I will be following these in order from now on starting with Leviamon and working my way up.

Custom Beelzemon | Inspiration Blog Post

Drawing a reference sheet for my S/Is Beelzemon has been on the to do list for a while. Everytime I imagine a scenario in my Digimon AU his look evolves into something more unique each time.

There are A LOT of fans that have OCs that are partnered with a Beelzemon and hey, the more the merrier! So it’s really interesting how artists have started to customise their Beelzemon rather than sticking with the standard blueprint of the Digimon Tamers version. Even if they do, this is still valid and ok! So in this post I want to go through my version’s characteristics and list the elements of inspiration that have come together to form my own.

So far this is the first part of Beelzemon’s reference sheet. I’m a huge fan of black and gold, possibly a little too much?! I did toy with the idea of making his tail gold, but my friends on Twitter swayed me otherwise. Can’t be dealing with a 24K tail and still be agile!

The main reason to go with this colour scheme was to match the Digivice of my character which I had previously designed for their reference sheet some time ago. But how to incoperate it was tricky, so so I started to add bits to Beelzemon’s outfit to highlight this colour. Right around the time of drawing this I had just seen Avengers: Endgame and took more subconcious inspiration from Black Panther’s design. Mainly the necklace but just with Killmonger’s Panther suit colour scheme.

For his face I started with the idea of making his facial features similar to the Horseman in Sleepy Hollow. God knows how obsessed with this film I was when I was 10! In the end the only thing that remained were the striking eyes and the messy hair of course. The sharp teeth may still stand a chance of working their way into the design in the future!

If I was compare him to a character, there is no doubt in my mind that Charlie Bronson would mirror him perfectly. So to give you a brief history, Michael Peterson a.k.a Charlie Bronson is Britain’s most notorious prisoner, and undoubtedly the most violent inmate. But he’s also a fellow artist! *high five!*

Tom Hardy portrayed his character in the 2008 film Bronson, and played his character to a T! I hold a certain love for this film. If you love a bit of iconic British history with some good old fashioned humour, this is a film for you. I can’t watch clips from this film without seeing my Bee-man now.

Even though I made a demo picture of the new design, I’m still taking in ideas from all over the place. I never followed the Ghost Rider comics but I was always in love with his super aggressive and powerful design. And that bike? HOLY SH*T… So I may elongate the new Behemoth to make it the ultimate cruiser and add a flaming chain into the Blast Mode design.

This was the demo before the design was finalised. So the tassels are a little higher and there are no chaps *snaps fingers*

And there you have it! That’s a brief rundown of my version of this glorious Mon! I look forward to drawing him in the future, so watch this space for updates ♥

Beerus | God of Destruction

This was made as a gift to KSI. He is one of my favourite Youtube creators with a love for Beerus. Dragonball wasn’t a series that I followed closely but after seeing KSI’s love for the series, it inspired me to pick it up again and become reacquainted with it.

At the moment I’m working my way through Dragon Ball Z Kai so I can skip the unnecessary episodes and get to Super much faster. The background was a combination from SilverSugar from deviantArt and a stock photo of Beerus’ home planet. I’m so happy with how this turned out and hope one day JJ will see it ^^
